RIGHT UP THERE, GUYS.
Other than that..... just to give you guys a few random tidbits of food for thought....
Who do you think invented conventional table manners and more importantly, to what purpose? I'm sure you can look up who did for various kinds of table manners, but more importantly, why?
Or, what goes through the heads of individuals that speed from one red light to the next? Knowing full-well that the next red light is not even a full block away, sometimes?
But really, here's the icing on the cake: I was in class the other day and my professor was describing how his daughter likes watching cartoons and anime and reading manga. He also mentioned that she loves drawing monsters, like, really "horrifying" monsters with, "teeth everywhere," and I was like, "d'awwww, how cute!" when I heard the people sitting behind me say, "Sounds like he's got a NERD on his hands *snigger snigger grunt snort*" So my question is..... since when the heck did an active and visual imagination in a child become nerdy and frowned upon by jocks? (They really were the stereo-typical jock and blonde, fitting the stereo-type to a T). I mean, how can they not realize that it is those very kids who grow up to create the video games and movies they love so much? I mean, do they honestly think that the people who make movies and stuff are like them? The ones that sit in the back of the classroom mindlessly chatting about meaningless gossip amongst themselves while their $30,000 of tuition just gets completely wasted? ANd even more importantly, why are we not allowed to shun and remove these hindrances to the education of people who WANT TO LEARN? WHich leads to the next question, :why the heck do people think a college education is necessary and that they are entitled to have one? No, you are not entitled to have a college education, it is a privilege. If you want to learn but don't have the money to go to college, then go to a LIBRARY AND READ A BOOK OR TWO. Take time earning money to go to college first if you have to and plan out a financial plan, for pete's sake! And why do we put so much pressure on going to school every day, for about 12 years of your life, when we tell kids that if they don't continue on to college the best job they can expect is flipping burgers at McDonalds? I mean, if TWELVE YEARS of public schooling has only gotten you skilled enough to flip burgers and work a cashier, then what good could 4 more years of college do for you? The entire attitude is just completely mixed up, stupid, and worthless. ANd now I have lost the ability to accurately put my thoughts into writing, and therefore will just stop there. : d
But, uh.... yeah. Visit my Tumblr if you like figure drawings. : d
